About This Spot

Restaurante El Paseíllo unfolds amid the historic charm of Sevilla’s Casco Antiguo, just a short stroll from the cathedral, where the rhythms of local life and the aroma of traditional dishes blend seamlessly. The moment you step inside, you're embraced by a lively, welcoming atmosphere—a place where the pulse of the city beats strong beneath high ceilings and lively chatter. It’s a spirited gathering spot, where the pace invites you to savor rather than rush, and the hum of conversation carries warmth beyond mere noise.

This is a place where friendships form over shared plates and where the joy of eating is inextricably linked to being present with those around you. El Paseíllo feels like an extension of Sevillian hospitality itself: open, engaging, and slightly boisterous, with the clink of glasses and the call of attentive servers weaving a comforting soundtrack for the evening.

The menu reflects this genuine connection to local flavors and tradition. Tapas come alive here, from the perfectly crisp croquetas and smoky patatas bravas to more indulgent treasures like the hearty cazuela and tender rabo de toro. The paellas warrant a moment of quiet reverence—whether it’s the vibrant freshness of the seafood medley or the earthy depths of the black rice and cuttlefish, each bite tells a story of the region’s coastal roots. Even the wines and sangría flow naturally, chosen not just to complement the food but to elevate the camaraderie at table.

Behind the scenes, the staff’s attentiveness creates a subtle but powerful feeling of being genuinely cared for. They move with a respectful ease, attentive to dietary needs and personal tastes without fuss, adding an essential human touch that feels as authentic as the dishes themselves.

El Paseíllo isn’t just a meal—it's a moment of immersion into Sevilla’s spirited culinary and social life. It’s perfect for those looking to experience the city’s vibrancy through food that’s rooted in tradition, prepared with care, and enjoyed in the company of local rhythm and warmth.

If you’re coming to Seville for the first time, this place should be top of your list to visit. Within a 5 minute walk from the cathedral on a lovely bustling street with great atmosphere, the service was perfect, our server was called Juande and was very helpful, attentive and welcoming. We ate the “Cazuela el paseillo” and it was without a doubt the nicest meal we have had in Seville. The padrona peppers were also the best we have had on our trip, and we would love to return here any time. ¡Muchos Gracias!

The food was fantastic! The servers are all very kind, always smiling and the service is quick and precise! A little bit loud on the inside because of the high ceiling but one can smell the Sevillan atmosphere. Top!

Found ourselves in here at 10pm after a late arrival as the restaurant was near our hotel. The city and picked it as it was bustling with locals eating Paella so we thought it must be good. We were seated within 10 minutes after a table became available and ordered croquettes and the pork cheek and goats cheese paella. Both were delicious! We went back a second time for the paella and shared the cheesecake for dessert. Whilst the restaurant is great and staff friendly the chairs are really uncomfortable restaurant chairs. I don’t usually notice chairs in a restaurant but we both commented on these.

Excellent tapas - everything was super delicious! Perfect padrons, octopus, crocketas. Wine was also really good. What's also important - the staff is super nice - we were served by Juande who was extremely friendly (and took care also of a gluten free guest) - he deserves a great bonus!
